The LunaTik Touch Pen was the 6th project I backed on Kickstarter. Backed the project last year on 14th December 2011, it became officially funded this year on the 10th February 2012 after raising US$309,183 (the goal was only US$75,000).

After some delays, I finally received the product last week on the 10th July 2012. Paid US$30 for it and an extra US$20 for the shipping to Singapore which adds up to US$50 (S$63.20) in total.

Google launches quite a few things at this morning Google I/O 2012.

New gadgets like Google Nexus 7 (US$199) (Play Store Link – US Only), Google Nexus Q (US$299) (Play Store Link – US Only) and Google Triad Bookshelf Speakers (US$399) (Play Store Link – US Only).

Looks like Microsoft has jumped on the tablet bandwagon with Microsoft Surface. I have no idea whether the official name is Microsoft Surface or Microsoft Surface Tablet, because when I think of Microsoft Surface, I would think of the huge touchscreen “device”.

It seems that Microsoft had renamed the old surface to Microsoft PixelSense and I am assuming that Microsoft Surface and Microsoft Surface Tablet means the same thing.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) 3G will be available in Singapore from, 30th June 2012 for S$598 (without contract and including 7% GST).

Bought the Wacom Bamboo Stylus from The Software Boutique for S$42. I got the Black, there are a total of 6 colors available (Black, White, Blue, Green, Orange, Pink).

Among the 3 styles that Li Xiang has (Sensu Artist Brush & Stylus, Power Support Smart Pen and Wacom Bamboo Stylus), she preferred the Wacom Bamboo Stylus.

The Sensu Artist Brush & Stylus was the 5th project I backed on Kickstarter, I backed it because I find the capacitive brush stylus interesting and I have not seen any stylus like that in the market before. The Sensu Artist Brush & Stylus consists of 2 tips, which is the brush tip and the rubber tip located at the opposite end of the stylus.

Backed the project on 22nd September 2011, it became officially funded on 21st October 2011 after raising US$65,823 (the goal was only US$7,500). The Sensu Artist Brush & Stylus was about 5 months in the making and I received the product on the 11th April 2012.

Sony Tablet S (3G/16GB) is finally available in Singapore as of 13th January 2012 for S$798. Because of the release of Sony Tablet (3G), the price for the WiFi version has been reduced as well.

Motorola XOOM 2 (3G/wifi, 32GB) is now available in Singapore (as of 13th January 2012) for a RRP of S$978.
