Palm is pretty much going to die when HP bought over it April 2010 and now, it is officially dead as HP drops the “Palm” name and launches 3 new devices, HP Veer, HP Pre 3 & HP TouchPad.

Galaxy Tab will be available in Singapore only to SingTel customers from 13th Nov 2010. You can pre-order the Galaxy Tab from http://www.singtel.com/tab and pre-order begins on 30th October 2010 till 12th November 2010. No word on the pricing yet as it will be revealed on the 14th November 2010.

The Galaxy Tab will be available with SingTel’s existing 3G Flexi price plans and a range of SingTel’s home and mobile broadband plans.

SingTel has revealed their data plans for iPad.

I want an Apple 16GB iPad WiFi + 3G version, tried ordering from comGateway, but my order got rejected the next day because of overwhelming response. I briefly mention about it to my colleague, Alon, and he said I could just order it online from Apple Store and ship it to his house and he will bring it to Singapore the next time he comes.

So I did just that! Ordered on 22nd April 2010, status change to “Prepared to Ship” on 1st May 2010 and was shipped on the 7th May 2010.

Yeap, you heard that right, iPad is coming to Singapore in July 2010 together with Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands and New Zealand.

CUPERTINO, California—May 7, 2010—Apple today announced that iPad will be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK on Friday, May 28. Customers can pre-order all iPad models from Apple’s online store in all nine countries beginning on Monday, May 10. In the US, Apple has already sold over one million iPads and customers have downloaded over 12 million apps from the App Store, as well as over 1.5 million ebooks from the new iBookstore.
