WP-Polls 2.20 Beta 1 Test

WP-Polls 2.20 Beta 1 is out the door. As usual, please do not run it on a live site as it is still in a beta stage. There are A LOT of changes between WP-Polls 2.14 and WP-Polls 2.20. 2 major ones are the implementation of polls that allow users to choose multiple answers and AJAX used in the administration panel.

I will try to capture screenshots for all of my plugins when I have the time to do so in addition to the live demo mainly because the administration panel cannot be shown. WP-Polls is the first plugin to get screenshoted.

  1. I couldn’t find your forum or email so I though I’d post here. I tried the beta version and when I went to activate it sent me to an error page saying certain things couldn’t work. However, it did activate. So I set up a poll but the actual voting options don’t work and with the script on my page it says there are errors on the page.

Any idea of what could be causing that?

  2. I installed this version over the previous version and I get radio button instead on checkbox. After I uninstalled the previous version all gone right. Good work.
I see some pool where it is possible to add on the fly a missing answer, could this be a next feature?

  3. Did you restore all templates to default? Because you need to do that for the checkbox to work.

On the fly Missing answer like Democracy? If that is the case, I do not think I will add it because I do not like the idea of user entering in his own poll answers.

  4. hello, got wp 2.1 and your latest poll. but after installing i get this error :

Invalid Poll ID Or Poll Answer ID. Poll ID #31, Poll Answer ID #0.

    My site is with widgets.

  5. I think there is some unwanted characters in your sidebar.php or whatever file the polls code is in,use notepad to open it up. You should be able to see it
