Bought the Case-Mate Waddler Penguin Case (Black) For iPhone 4/4S (Amazon link) from Amazon for Li Xiang as her birthday present! She likes penguin and I can’t find any penguin iPhone cases beside this one from Case-Mate.
It cost USD$24.99 (SGD$31.63) and shipping to Singapore is an additional USD$7 (SGD$8.85), and hence I paid a total of USD$31.99 (SGD$40.49) for it. I ordered on 5th October 2011 but due to it being out of stock after I placed my order, I only received it on 24th October 2011.
The reason why I ordered from Amazon is because Case-Mate website does not have Singapore in it’s shipping country dropdown list despite it ships internationally! WTF man!

I have been searching for a case to protect the back of my iPad 2 and it must work with Apple’s Smart Cover. I chanced upon this thread, Smart Cover Compatible Cases List, in MacRumors which came in handy.
I did some research myself and the availability of those covers in Singapore and I came to a conclusion that the SwitchEasy CoverBuddy is the most value for money and it will definitely be available in Singapore.
Finding the SwitchEasy CoverBuddy isn’t exactly easy, especially the UltraClear version. It is out of stock almost everywhere in Singapore. Even SwitchEasy International Store is also out of stock.
I started a thread in HardwareZone Forums to help gather information of any stores that might have stock for SwitchEasy CoverBuddy.
When I was about to leave my office, I saw this post by InnocentBlood saying there are 5x SwitchEasy CoverBuddy UltraClear version at VivoCity’s Challenger and I immediately went down after work and luckily there are still 3 pieces left! I got 2 pieces (1 for my friend) for SGD$39.90 each (Member’s Price: SGD$35.91).
The iPad 2 (Wi-Fi + 3G) weighs 613g and together with Apple’s Smart Cover and SwitchEasy CoverBuddy, it weighs 822g. A difference of 209g.

Got the TuneWear IceWear iPod Nano 6G for my iPod Nano 6G from DG Lifestyle Store at VivoCity. It cost SGD$28.00 and it is totally not worth it!
The packing comes with 2 screen protectors and the silicon cover for your iPod Nano 6G. The screen protector scratches way too easily and the silicon cover is not an exact fit, I find it rather too big for the iPod Nano 6G. Too bad there is no better case out there yet.
I may get the Incipio Linq to replace it sooner or later.

Received my Apple iPhone 4 Bumpers (Black) from the iPhone 4 Case Program today. It was shipped on the 20th August 2010 and it took about 5 days to reach me. The Apple iPhone 4 Bumper is retailing for USD$29.
I can’t really find anything special about the bumper besides the metallic material used for the volume controls and power button. It does not protect the back which is major disadvantage.
Upon holding your iPhone 4 with the bumper on feels weird because the back somewhat feels concaving in. This is because of the extra height added to the edges of the iPhone 4. The bumper is not exactly tight fit and hence when pressing the sides of your iPhone felt a little squashy. Also the bumper adds some depth to all the buttons and connectors. For example, if you are using a L shaped headphone, chances are you might not be able to be able to plug in fully to the headphone jack.
My brother did say it somewhat solves the attenuation issue on his iPhone 4 when comparing it with the SwitchEasy Nude and of course both is compared using the dead grip.
My next case, Speck PixelSkin HD, is targeted to ship on the 20th September 2010 but I hope I can receive it way before that as this bumper was received 2 weeks earlier than the targeted date of 7th September 2010.
Check out my post on iPhone 4 Case Program if you need more information on the iPhone 4 cases from the iPhone 4 Case Program.
