About Oneadaptr Oneadaptr started out from a Kickstarter project based on their product called Twist. They raised a total of US$36,226 out of their initial goal of US$30,000 from 552 backers.
Twist is a ultra-portable universal adapter designed to work with the MacBook adapter. It offers much more functions than the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit and makes charging your mobile devices much easier. Some of its functions include, four USB ports for charging, universal outlet and the intuitive twist-to-change adapter type design.
Last month, Samsung announced the Samsung Universal Animal Edition Battery Pack featuring illustrations of four species of endangered animals as part of Samsung ‘Charge the Life’ campaign, which aims to raise awareness about endangered animals.
The endangered animals are selected from the IUCN Red List of threatened species. The list is widely recognized as the most comprehensive, objective global approach for evaluating the conservation status of plant and animal species.
The Aukey 10-Port USB 3.0 Hub is a USB 3.0 hub that is made up of aluminum to match the design of your Mac. It measures 183mm x 66mm x 34mm and weighs 180g. Because it is USB 3.0, it supports data transfer rate of up to 5Gbps. It comes with a 12V/3A power adapter and a 1m USB 3.0 cable (Standard-A to Standard-A).
It was put on sale for the first time in Singapore at 12pm on 13th February 2015. The sale is meant to coincide with Lunar New Year and hence it is an open sale instead of the usual limited flash sales. Open sale means you get to purchase Mi products anytime.
The second product that I ordered from Aukey is the Aukey 48W 9.6A 4-Port Car Charger. It is retailing for US$16.99 (S$23) on Amazon. I have not seen a similar charger like this from Anker before.
This is the most powerful car charger that I have seen in the market because it is capable of a 9.6A combined output and since there it is a 4-port charger, each port can output a maximum of 2.4A simultaneously.
I have been seeing the brand Aukey appearing quite often on Gizmodo’s Deals and it seems to be a good alternative to Anker. From the looks of the design, it seems both company get from similar OEMs.
So when Aukey contacted me asking me to feature/review their products, I accepted the offer. I just need to pay for shipping from HopShopGo since they don’t ship directly to Singapore from Amazon.
The other item I got from Belkin Singapore for Christmas is the Belkin Tablet Charger. In case you did not read my previous post, I also got the Belkin Lightning to USB ChargeSync Cable (4ft) from Belkin Singapore for Christmas.
I think the Belkin Tablet Charger has been renamed to Belkin Universal Home Charger since I could not find the Tablet Charger being listed on their website and the Universal Home Charger looks exactly the same (besides the color) as the Tablet Charger.

Xiaomi Mi 16,000mAh Power Bank is the third and largest capacity power bank from Xiaomi. It was put on sale for the first time in Singapore at 12pm on 16th December 2014 and is retailing for S$29.99.
For the first time, there are two output ports in Xiaomi’s power bank. Each of the port supports up to 2.1A output but if both ports are used simultaneously, the maximum combined output is 3.6A.
Legion Meter is a USB multimeter with integrated OLED display designed to accelerate your smartphone or tablet’s charge speed up to 92% faster. A multimeter is an electronic measuring instrument that combines several measurement functions in one unit. A typical multimeter would include basic features such as the ability to measure voltage, current, and resistance (source: Wikipedia).
I backed Legion Meter on Kickstarter on the 29th May 2014 and it was funded successfully on 19th June 2014 after raising US$416,268 out of their initial goal of just US$10,000.
