Compared to the Crumpler Bag â Milonas, the Crumpler Bell – Action iPad Pouch is heavier, has more pockets to carry your iPad accessories and more padding to protect your iPad.
On Friday, 16th August 2013, Crumpler Singapore brought in a new range of bags called Wren which are targeted at girls. At launch there are 8 bags and each bag is available in 4 colors (Feather Print aka Poker Dots, Khaki, Red Orange and Sand).
Brought Crumpler’s The Fug (Black) which is a very slim neoprene sleeve for my 13″ MacBook Air from Paragon‘s Crumpler store, it cost S$55, but if you are a CitiBank credit card holder, you enjoy a 10% discount. I ended up paying S$49.50 for it.
I was contemplating between this and the SwitchEasy’s Thins, but ended up I went for this instead because:
Bought the Crumpler Dry Red No. 3 from Crumpler Ion Orchard. It is retailing for S$299 and if you pay by American Express (AMEX) credit card, there is a 10% discount, so after the discount, it cost S$269.10.
The Crumpler Dry Red No. 3 is a carry-on cabin luggage and it fits exactly the cabin of the plane (I have seen my colleague used it). It measures 38cm x 55cm x 23cm (Width x Height x Depth) and weights 2.7kg.
Gotten another Crumpler pouch for my US trip next Sunday, this time is the Crumpler Pouch – Haven (M). This is the limited edition print and is retailing for S$79. As it is limited edition, no 10% discount is applicable.
I bought this pouch to place my Canon 50D (with 18-200mm lens) in it so that the camera can be place in my backpack and still being protected.
Saw the Crumpler Dry Red No. 2 a couple of months back, but it was out of stock island-wide. So when the stock came back in last week, I immediately went down and bought it. I went to VivoCity but they did not have a new piece, so they reserved a new piece for me at their Raffles City branch.
Crumpler Singapore is very active on their Facebook Page, it is so easy to check on stocks and prices, just post on their wall, and they will get back to you within 48 hours! Thumbs up for their customer engagement!
I passed my MacBook Pro 15″ to my brother and will be using my work MacBook Pro 15″ as my “official” laptop and hence I will need to bring it around from my work place back to home and vice versa and needed a bag to hold it.
I am using Fabrix Case‘s MacBook Pro sleeve previously but that sleeves requires one of my hand to hold on to it and since the MacBook Pro is so heavy, I can’t use the hand to hold other stuff while securing my MacBook Pro tight. So I decided to go for a proper working bag which can fit my MacBook Pro as well as some accessories.
Bought the Crumpler’s Artisanal Loaf for S$40 from VivoCity’s Cumpler store. There is a discount of 10% if paid by CitiBank Credit Card, so ended up paying S$36.
I got this the day before I left for Hong Kong on 22nd April 2011 and used it to put all my chargers and it’s cables. Fits well and with lots of spare space!
The bag is very lightweight, slim and compact and fits nicely an 11″ MacBook Air! Personally I am using it as my iPad bag till I get a MacBook Air next year or so!
