The PKG Slim Sleeve is a nostalgic-looking padded sleeve for the MacBook Air 11 or 13-inch. It feels made from premium materials, with thick internal padding to protect against knocks. It fits the MacBook Air exactly, leaving no extra space.
I ordered the Neutral Pack Grey Sleeve for my iPhone 5 from Fabrix Cases, paying US$21.90. It fits the iPhone 5 so precisely that it's a touch too tight, making the phone difficult to remove. Hopefully it loosens after use.
I was sent the Chef Sleeve for iPad to review, all the way from the US. It's essentially a transparent plastic bag you slip your iPad into while cooking or baking, keeping it free of grease and flour.
I bought Crumpler's The Fug in Black, a slim neoprene sleeve for my 13-inch MacBook Air, from the Paragon Crumpler store for S$55, or S$49.50 with a 10% CitiBank discount. I'd weighed against SwitchEasy's Thins but went with the Fug.
Received my Incipio Orion case from bestpric3, fitting my iPhone 3GS perfectly, though still a touch tight until it breaks in. Its EasyReach tab lets you pop the phone out easily with a simple pull. A neat, well-made case.
The be.ez LArobe netbook case comes in five colours for 10.2-inch models, measuring 26.6 by 19.2 by 3cm and weighing 172 grams, about the same as the Cool Bananas envelope case I reviewed days earlier. A slim, well-made sleeve.
Gear Zap sent me the Cool Bananas and LArobe netbook cases to review, starting with the Cool Bananas Envelope. I use an Asus EEE 1000HE, and the envelope fits any netbook with an 8.9 to 10.2-inch screen nicely.
As mentioned, I received three parcels on the same day. The last was from Gear Zap and Mobile Fun, who sent two netbook cases to review. Cool Bananas offers plenty of designs for 10-inch netbooks.
I ordered Fabrix Cases for my MacBook Pro last Sunday, delivered Wednesday by ordinary post with a S$1.50 stamp rather than courier. I'm amazed the postman squeezed the laptop sleeve into my letterbox. I chose the Delux Laptop Case.
