Crucial RAM For QNAP NAS
The QNAP TS-453D ships with only 4GB of RAM, too little for containers or virtual machines. I upgraded with a Crucial 8GB DDR4 2666 SODIMM, bought from Amazon.sg during a Black Friday sale for S$31.08.
Devices and storage in the 8GB tier, from RAM and SD cards to early flash storage.

Thanks to a tip from Melvin, I scored the Asus ROG Strix RX VEGA56 OC Edition 8GB for S$499, down from the usual S$1,179. The discount seemed absurd enough to suspect a fake, but it turned out genuine.
The Toshiba FlashAir is a no-frills take on the Flucard Pro and Eye-Fi Pro. Distributed in Singapore by Trek 2000, it retails for around S$100. Since Trek doesn't enforce an RRP, I can't quote an official price. Only the 8GB.
Lytro is now available in Singapore, with Qool Labs as the official distributor here and in Hong Kong. The 8GB model retails for S$648, in Electric Blue or Graphite, while the 16GB costs S$778, only in Red Hot.
I got the Eye-Fi Pro X2 8GB from Amazon for US$91.49, alongside my Cocoon Grid-It, with shipping totalling US$21.46. The Eye-Fi isn't officially sold in Singapore, so you must buy from overseas resellers or Amazon, where it works out cheaper.
Rare for me, I skipped the PC Show 2009 opening and only went at 7pm because of work. Compared with IT Show 2009, I didn't really enjoy it; the aisles between booths felt much narrower.
