Announcing: Release to Manufacturing
It’s almost here! We’re very happy to tell you that we’ve hit the last big milestone on the way to Windows 7: Release to Manufacturing. We’re packaging copies and manufacturers are putting it on new PCs. On October 22, you’ll be able to get the final shipping product. Pat yourself on the back for a job well done; you helped make this an operating system we’re all going to enjoy.
Before you read this post, I am not affiliated with Beds.sg, I am just doing my part in bringing awareness to this program for the needy and accumulating some good karma.
Many of us sleep with a thick and comfortable mattress when we get home after a tired day of work. However, there are many unprivileged people who do not even have a mattress to sleep on.
What happen was Li Xiang was using my desktop half-way and the screen started to show grey horizontals lines and then some purple squares and finally it got so lagged that the computer restarted by itself. Tried several times to revived it, plug it out, clean the connector, waited for a few hours and put it back in again. But still no go.
We have been on a Ramen frenzy for quite sometime. Li Xiang has blogged (with pictures) about the so called “best” 3 ramen in Singapore, namely the Marutama Ramen from Liang Court/The Central, Sapporo Ramen Miharu from Gallery Hotel and Ramen Santouka from The Central.
Went to the Nokia Ovi Store Showcase at Ben & Jerry’s at The Cathay. I always like the fact that Nokia always try new places for their events. Anyway we can order anything on the menu we like in Ben & Jerry’s. Even the S$88 item which contains 20 scoop of ice cream! I only managed to eat 1 scoop and drink 1 cup of smoothies as I was pretty bloated.
The Nokia Ovi Store showcase was to give bloggers a brief on the Ovi Store. Ovi Store supports up to 75 devices (even those 3 years ago models) running S60 or S40 OSes. When you launch the Ovi Store, it will detect your device and will only show applications that are compatible with your devices.
Challenge #3 from my Nokia’s Teach a Technophobe has arrived in my mailbox yesterday. Finally my dad was at home and hence he is able to received it on my behalf and hence I am able to complete this challenge earlier.
This challenge is slightly more complicated and even I myself have to figure it out for sometime before I can teach my mother. It involves sending a location using email on Nokia Ovi Maps as well as attaching a picture of my mom.
I ordered the Fabrix Black Suite Delux Laptop Case for my Asus EEE 1000HE last friday and it was devliered to me this week on Tuesday. Even though the size states it is for Asus EeePC 1000/MSI Wind, it will fit the EEE 1000HE as well.
They are having a promotion, if you get any laptop cases, you will get S$10 off any sleeves, so I got the Fabrix Black Suite Sleeve for my Apple iPhone 3GS.
After navigating around with Infocomm123 for about a week, I realize it is more than just a questions and answers portal (even though it is their main feature). There are many others such as the Big Fact Book and the Wireless@SG coverage (my personal favorite)! In this blog post I will give a brief walk through of the features.
The one-stop portal where you can find all your infocomm answers!
As mentioned in the previous post, I received 3 parcel on the same day. The third and last parcel was from Gear Zap / Mobile Fun. They sent me two netbook cases for me to review. I have not seen this two brands in Singapore yet.
Christmas came early for me on Friday! I received 3 parcels altogether! One is for the Nokia Technophobe Challenge #2, the second one was Wii Birthday Party Bash game from 2K Play and the third and last parcel was two netbook cases from Gear Zap / Mobile Fun.
This post is about the Wii Birthday Party Bash. I am going to review this game when my friends come over my house on the 1st August 2009 for a Wii party, we called it the Games Day! The packaging is excellent, this is no doubt the best packaging I have seen for a Wii game.
