WordPress 3.0 RC3 has been released. This should be the final RC if there are no major bugs left.
In case you are wondering, there is WordPress 3.0 RC2 but it is only for internal use.

Have there been any reports of major issues with existing plugin’s yet?
Hmm no idea, personally I have not tested it with WP 3.0
