WP-PostViews 1.60 is released which fixes form submit issues on WPMU installation, and now there is a “Views” column on the Edit Posts page. Of course similar to WP-Polls and WP-PostRatings, I have updated readme.txt to be a proper readme now.

Thanks a lot. 🙂
i’ve made my blog whole site ajax.

Ivaseg: This site is on WP 3.1.1 and running WP-PostViews. Are you using WPMU?
rubi: That is up to your theme.
Hi Lester.
I hava a problem.I want to change the views word. How i can this change. Thanks.
WP-Admin -> Settings -> PostViews
Lester.thanks a lot… You are number one!
Lester, Does the post-view add an linebreak after the text?
I now use wp-postviews and wp-ratings in the same area, and the wp-ratings are set on a new line.
WP-PostRatings does. WP-PostViews does not. Take a look at the readme.html under Usage Tab. You can specify span instead of div.
Noticed that WP-PostViews uses postmeta to store the number of views a post has received.
What happens when you update a post and in the 30 minutes it take you to do so it gets 100 views? Do you overwrite the field when you hit save?
Good point, after so many years, I didn’t thought of that. It does get overwritten.
Hi Lester,
i got many external links on my mainsite. The clicks to my postings count your plugin well. Only the external Links does the plugin dont count.
Is there a way that the external links count too?
Help me, i need the count of external links too.
Thx Marcos
After I installed the WP Super Cache – it seems as post views is counting fewer views. A post that usually got around 1000 post views gets around 200 now. Traffic on my blog is increasing so this is not logic. And google analytics confirm a lower count. Guess it got something to do with the cache installations… Do you have a good solution? That would be nice. Thank you. 🙂
