Nice. So this is more of a daily announcement. Useful for regularly updated sites. What about setting an expiration?

ie I only want the announcement to expire after 1 week?

That is correct. I added RSS feed ability on my blog and I’d say half my readers are fro RSS feeds.

Feedburner is also a good tool if you choose to later monetize your blog by opting for adverts in your RSS feeds.

Plugins Updated For WordPress 2.1

Changing Of Host Completed

I’m on Dreamhost right now and though I don’t have as much traffic as you, I’m hosting 5 sites on it without problems. I’m also running some LAMP collaboration software – activeCollab (in your goodies menu :o) on dreamhost panel).

WP-Polls 2.11 Released

Have you considered creating a raffle plug-in? I’m considering a charity raffle where some free good provided to me would be raffled off to visitors and the proceeds directly to roomtoread.org, a charity to provide schooling in poor countries.

If any reader of this blog can point me to such a plug-in/script I’d appreciate it.
