Thanks kitchin! I love your method more. I have updated the post you mentioned https://lesterchan.net/wordpress/2008/07/17/how-to-turn-off-post-revision-in-wordpress-26/ =)

Sorry that is not possible in the current implementation.

I need the default theme to prove to users that my plugin does work =)
» Posted By Lester Chan On 7th September 2012 @ 18:00
If the user is logged-in, it will be captured in the logs. WP-Admin -> Ratings -> Manage Ratings, but you have to write down your own script to query the table wp_ratings table and retrieve that info. It is not in the plugin =)

@Laurent: nice site, love the way you customised the plugin. I can’t seem to find any issue with yours. I rated 3 posts, from the home page as well as the single post page. Works fine.
I am using FF & Chrome

I can’t answer that, I tried popup on this site, it works fine! Can u try on twentyeleven theme?
» Posted By Lester Chan On 7th November 2012 @ 16:16
Can you not use a popup, try it in a standalone page, for some reason, the popup page does not contain the nonce code at all.

You sure you are not using any caching or minifying plugin? The other one I can think of is there is a JS error somewhere in your site? Do you have any site that I can with the problem?
» Posted By Lester Chan On 7th November 2012 @ 08:31
Did u try turning off all the js optimisation? Like concatenation? So that it will load the WP-Polls JS instead of using W3TC to load it? The JS is already min on WP-Polls

Is your WordPress Admin not the folder. http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/ then on the right menu choose Ratings then sub-menu choose Ratings Template. You can customize the ratings templates as you wish. The HTML is there.

WP-Admin -> Ratings -> Ratings Template.

I don’t have much advice because I am pretty sure it is not a plugin problem because it works fine on my tests. I am leaning towards a plugin conflict or data corruption. The only way around it is to uninstall and reinstall it, not just WP-PostRatings but the previous ratings plugin you are using.
Also do note that by uninstalling the previous rating plugin, doesn’t mean that the rating data is gone. The uninstall might not delete the data.
If you ask me, I would say spin up a new WP installation with your theme, WP-PostRatings along side with all the plugins you are using (except the previous rating plugin) to see if the problem still persist.

Might be the previous plugin leaving behind those field that is causing the conflict, can you leave “ratings_average, ratings_score and ratings_users” there and delete the rest?

Hmm, can u check to see if there are more than 3 ratings field under the custom field section of any posts?
» Posted By Lester Chan On 31st July 2012 @ 21:12
Not that I am aware, the code that calculate the ratings was not touched in at least a year.
» Posted By Lester Chan On 31st July 2012 @ 13:07
Are you using it for Multisite?
» Posted By Lester Chan On 30th July 2012 @ 00:56
Did you put in the ratings php code as stated in the readme?
» Posted By Lester Chan On 7th July 2012 @ 09:50
If you can’t tell me the URL, that is nothing much I can do on my end to help as I have no idea what is going on.
» Posted By Lester Chan On 5th July 2012 @ 22:36
Cache JS? What is your site URL?
» Posted By Lester Chan On 5th July 2012 @ 08:34
I have not really played with Multisite yet and hence that is why I have not added that support to my plugin yet. So I can’t answer your question, sorry about it
» Posted By Lester Chan On 4th July 2012 @ 08:14
It does not work with WP Multisite, you have to put it in the individual site plugin folder.
» Posted By Lester Chan On 3rd July 2012 @ 15:36
Can you clear your WordPress cache? It seems that your JS cache is still pointing to the old AJAX url which is wp-polls/wp-polls.php instead of wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
» Posted By Lester Chan On 3rd July 2012 @ 08:11
Can you try the default twentyeleven theme? Or you have a site URL, I would want to see the problem (not your fixed version)
» Posted By Lester Chan On 24th August 2012 @ 08:29
If you run into problems, refer to https://lesterchan.net/wordpress/2012/06/05/ajax-not-working-for-wp-email-wp-polls-wp-postratings-or-wp-postviews/

Done! http://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/554618, just redownload the plugin and overwrite the files.

The widget is for individual poll, you can choose whether or not to show the link to poll archive for the individual poll widget.
