I got the Timbuk2 Command Messenger Bag (oxford nylon black in medium size) when I was in San Francisco back in December 2011. It was retailing for US$130 which after 8.75% California tax comes up to US$141.375 (S$176).
This bag is Transportation Security Administration (TSA) friendly in the US because the laptop compartment can be unzipped separately to flatten the bag for it to pass through the X-ray. In this way you do not need to take your laptop out from the bag. I have not tested this in Singapore Changi Airport yet, but my guess is that you still have to take the laptop out from your bag.
Received the Timbuk2 Freestyle Messenger Bag for iPad from my brother as my birthday present last year. I think at that time it is retailing for US$89 (S$111), but it is on offer now, timbuk2.com is selling for US$54 (S$67.40).
Despite it is a bag for the iPad, it is able to fit in a 13″ MacBook Air at the main compartment (not the padded iPad compartment). I am guessing a 11″ MacBook Air should be able to fit in the padded iPad compartment.
Hossan Leong took over SingTel’s Twitter page yesterday as part of a campaign to promote SingTel’s 4G mobile service. The hashtag #Need4GSpeed is used and if you tweet with that hashtag, Hossan and his team of actors will respond to selected tweets on-the-spot with entertaining short skits depicting the mentioned scenarios.
Google Reader was created in early 2005 by Google engineer Chris Wetherell and launched on 7th October 2005 through Google Labs.
I can’t remember when I first started using Google Reader, but my guess it would be around in 2006. Ever since then, I have been using Google Reader on a daily basis (even weekends and when I am on holiday).
What is Uber? Uber is a service that connects passengers with drivers of luxury vehicles for hire. Think of it as a private limousine service. You book the limousine, it gives you an estimated waiting time for your pick-up, sends you to your destination and you hop off. Payment will automatically be charged to your credit card that you provided when you signed up for an Uber account.
In my first part review of the Synology DiskStation DS413j, I talked about the Unboxing and Setup, in the second part review, I talked about the Performance, Backup & CloudStation and for this last review, I will talk about the multimedia features of the DS413j and that includes Video Station, Audio Station and Photo Station as well as their mobile apps, DS Video, DS Audio and DS Photo+ respectively.
There are a lot of features in the Video/Audio/Photo Station, and hence for this review, I will focus on my personal use case; I want to access/stream my music/video/photos stored in my Synology NAS wherever I am on my iPhone or Android.
