The highly anticipated successor to Asus PadFone 1, the Asus PadFone 2 will be available for sale in Singapore from 22nd November 2012 (this coming Thursday) at authorised Asus retailers and StarHub Shops (looks like it is exclusive for StarHub).
This is the 4th Google Nexus handset known as Nexus 4 and it is made by LG. The screen is huge now at 4.7″ with resolution of 1280×768 (320ppi), back camera is now 8MP, processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5GHz (quad-core) and RAM has been bumped to 2GB. It also includes wireless charging using any Qi-compatible charger. Do note that LTE is not supported in the Nexus 4.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II was announced about 2 months ago at IFA 2012. Now it is finally available in Singapore.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II LTE is now available in Singapore (as of Saturday, 20th October 2012) for a recommended retail price (RRP) of S$998 without contract. The price stated is inclusive of 7% GST.
Loop & Meet (SingTel link) is an App by SingTel that allows you to manage RSVP to your events. It is different from Facebook Event because each of your guest will receive an SMS for your event and they can RSVP to the event by replying to the SMS with a #yes, #no or #maybe. Not everyone check Facebook often, but most do at least reply to SMSes.
HTC One S will be available in Singapore from this Saturday, 16th June 2012 for S$948. Only 1 color is available which is the Gradient Metal. When you buy the phone, it comes with a free Beats Solo Headset.
Samsung Galaxy SIII will be available in Singapore from Wednesday, 30th May 2012. It will be retailing for S$998 (including taxes & without contract) at all 3 operators (SingTel, M1, StarHub) in Singapore.
Preorders will begin the day before on Tuesday, 29th May 2012. For M1, the launch event is at M1 Shop Paragon on the 29th May 2012 from 9pm till 12am. StarHub will also start from 9pm on the 29th at their shops but only for customers who have indicated their interest with them previously.
