Announced at CES 2012, Sony Xperia S (the link is still pointing to SonyEricsson.com) is Sony’s first smartphone after she broke up with Ericsson.
The specs for Sony Xperia S is pretty impressive (1.5GHz Dual-Core + 1GB RAM) and it does supports NFC as well. The only complaint I have is it should be launching with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) instead of Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It will be available in 2 colors, black or white.
Sony announced the Sony ICF-DS15iP last Thursday. The ICF series is Sony’s line of iPod and iPhone Docks. In particular the Sony ICF-DS15iP is an iPod and iPhone Dock Clock Radio.
If you need a cheaper alternative to a iPhone dock with alarm clock functionality, I would totally recommend the Sony ICF-DS15iP. The Sony ICF-DS15iP is going to retail for S$179 and will be available from 30th September 2011 onwards at all Sony Authorized Retailers.
Was invited to a Sony Ericsson’s Backstage blogger session, it is my first time attending a Sony Ericsson event! We are introduce to the company (Sony) tag line which is “make.believe”. The “dot” in the “make.believe” is important because it separates “make believe” from “make” and “believe”.
After the introduction we are introduce to 5 phones. Xperia X10, Xperia X10 Mini, Xperia X10 Mini Pro, Vivaz and Vivaz Pro. The Xperia X10 family is running on Android 2.1 while the Vivaz family is running on Symbian OS S60 v5.
Bought the Sony ICF-C1iPMK2 for S$157. The retail price is S$179 but after the member discount it is S$159. And after deducting off the carpark claim of S$2, it became S$157.
It fits my iPhone 3GS well. You do not need a iPhone 3G Universal Dock Adapter because there is a support at the back which you can adjust so that your iPhone 3GS can lie on it comfortably.
I think all netbooks have roughly the same specifications featuring the standard Atom N280 processor, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 and perhaps even the harddrive capacity or the 10″ wide screen. When I choose a netbook, I go for the battery life and the looks of it.
The Sony VAIO W VPCW115XG comes in 3 colors, pink, brown and white. Its recommended retail price is S$899.00.
Sony ICF-C1IPMK2
I have been eying on the Sony’s ICF-C1IPMK2 recently because it is quite affordable. The retail price is S$179 but challenger is selling it at S$159 with member discount. The ICF-C1IPMK2 is a iPod/iPhone Dock Clock Radio.
