Sensu Artist Brush & Stylus
The Sensu Artist Brush & Stylus was the 5th project I backed on Kickstarter. I backed it because the capacitive brush stylus intrigued me. It has two tips: a brush and a rubber tip at opposite ends.
Apple iPad tablets and the Pencil, cases, and stands made for them.

I was sent the Chef Sleeve for iPad to review, all the way from the US. It's essentially a transparent plastic bag you slip your iPad into while cooking or baking, keeping it free of grease and flour.
The Innergie Magic Cable Trio and Duo are Innergie's priciest USB cables, each retailing for S$29 at Challenger, or S$26.10 with a 10% member's discount. I went for the Trio, which has three tips, Mini USB, Micro USB, and Apple.
With Valentine's Day next Tuesday, if you're after flowers for your partner, I'd thoroughly recommend Far East Flora at FEF.com. I've ordered from them many times and never been disappointed with the quality, unlike some other florists I tried.
I got a Belkin Auto Charger nearly three years ago, but it couldn't charge my iPad, so I needed another for my US trip. The Griffin PowerJolt Micro charges iPad, iPhone, and iPod, outputting 5V at 2.1A.
I'd seen the Crumpler Dry Red No. 2 a few months back, but it was out of stock island-wide. When stock returned last week, I went straight down. VivoCity had no fresh piece, so they reserved one at Raffles City.
The Bluelounge Kicks are small, thin silicone-rubber rails that stop your iPad from slipping, scratching, or getting damaged. Once applied, you can lean your iPad 2 against the edge of a table while resting it on your lap.
iOS 5.0 is out, and here I've gathered the direct download links from Apple itself for a range of iDevices, including the iPhone 4 and 3GS, the iPod Touch 4G and 3G, and the iPad 2 and iPad 1.
I got the Bluelounge Nest for S$19.90, or S$17.91 with member's price, from Challenger. It seems Challenger, or the agent, only brought in the black and white variants, as I couldn't find the other colours there, though EpiCentre had them.
Got my 32GB iPad 2 WiFi + 3G thanks to a friend who queued at VivoCity's Infinite store from 6am. Stocks were extremely limited, white especially; one person could buy only two units, just like the first launch.
Bought the Power Support Smart Pen for Li Xiang at Challenger for S$39.90. Four colours are offered; I picked Brushed. Made in Korea, it feels solid, though I can't draw on my iPad so it suits designers better.
Li Xiang got me the Crumpler Herbas (L) Wide as a birthday present, thanks Dear! The bag is lightweight, slim and compact, fitting an 11-inch MacBook Air nicely. I'm using it as my iPad bag for now.
Here are Apple's own direct download links for iOS 4.3 across iDevices: iPhone 3GS and 4, iPod Touch 3G and 4G, and all three iPads. The iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G are deprecated and miss out.
Here are Apple's own direct download links for iOS 4.2 across iDevices: iPhone 3G, 3GS and 4, iPod Touch 2G, 3G and 4G, and the original iPad, all on build 4.2.1, giving every supported device the update at once.
Fabrix Cases sent me a complimentary Fabrix Booklet for iPad worth US$59.90, probably because I've bought several cases from them for my MacBook Pro, netbook, iPhone 3GS and iPad. I think I'll use this one from now on.
When I saw the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit at S$38 on Apple Singapore's store, shipping showed two to three weeks. I ordered it anyway with my brother's iPad Case, and surprisingly both shipped the very next day.
SingTel has revealed its iPad data plans: S$34.50 a month, or S$30.50 over 24 months, with 50GB of data at 7.2Mbps down. For a free USB modem and MicroSIM with adaptor, sign up at S$36.50 monthly over 24 months.
The iPad arrives in Singapore on 23rd July 2010, alongside eight other countries. Official local prices are S$728 to S$1,028 for WiFi 16GB through 64GB, and S$928 to S$1,228 for the WiFi + 3G models.
A huge Crumpler fan, I wanted a work bag fitting my iPad and A4 paper. I first eyed the S$81 Skivvy (Small), but changed my mind, since it's really just a sleeve for a 12-inch laptop.
I wanted a 16GB iPad WiFi + 3G and tried ordering via comGateway, but it was rejected next day amid overwhelming demand. My colleague Alon offered to order it from the Apple Store and ship it to his place.
The iPad arrives in Singapore in July 2010, alongside Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands and New Zealand. Apple separately confirmed an earlier wave for Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK.
Did a mini interview with Kenny Chee of My Paper about EpiCentre taking iPad pre-orders. I'm wary, since EpiCentre handled the iPhone 3GS pre-order poorly last year, leaving buyers receiving theirs later than SingTel customers.
