The HTC One (M8) will be available in Singapore from this Saturday, 5th April 2014 at all mobile operators (SingTel, M1 & StarHub) and authorized retailers.
Two colors will be available, Gunmetal Grey and Glacial Silver. The recommended retail price (RRP) is S$998 for the 16GB HTC One (M8).
Microsoft Surface 2 will be available for sale in Singapore starting tomorrow, 13th March 2014. You can get it from authorised retailers like Challenger, Harvey Norman, Newstead, etc.
Accessories for the Surface 2 includes Touch Cover 2, Type Cover 2, and Arc Touch Mouse Surface Edition.
The gold version of HTC One is now available in Singapore (since 18th January 2014) just in time for Chinese New Year.
Previously HTC One is only available in 3 colors in Singapore: Silver, Black and Red. There is a blue variant but it is exclusive to Carphone Warehouse in the UK and Best Buy in the US.

Timbuk2 opens its first in-store customisation outside of the United States right here in Singapore. The Timbuk2 Singapore store officially opens yesterday, 31st October 2013 and is located at #03-26A Bugis Junction (200 Victoria Street, Singapore 188021). The opening hours are from 10.30am to 10pm daily.

There is an interactive custom station where you can design your custom bags or accessories made to order in the Timbuk2 San Francisco factory. It takes about 2 weeks from the moment you order till you get your bag.
Sony Xperia Z Ultra will be available in Singapore from Thursday, 5th September 2013 at a recommended retail price of S$1,038 without contract. 3 colors will be available, Black, White and Purple.

Windows 8.1 will begin rolling out worldwide as a free update for consumers on Windows 8 through the Windows Store at 7pm on 17th October 2013 (Singapore Time). Windows 8.1 will also be available at retail and on new devices starting from 18th October 2013.
Windows 8 was launched last year in Singapore on the 26th October 2012.
Personally, I find the service level in Singapore acceptable. I think the service level in retail shops are generally better than those in F&B. If I have to name one F&B in Singapore that has the worst service, it got to be Crystal Jade Kitchen.
Having been to the US (but not yet Japan), the service level in US is awesome for both for retail and F&B.
Shopify allows you to setup a full fledge hosted e-commerce store within minutes. It also has an excellent mobile iOS app that allows you to keep track and manage your store as well.
Some local examples of Shopify includes, Pocky Singapore, The Damn Good Shop and Fabrix.
