Uber Is Here In Singapore

What is Uber? Uber is a service that connects passengers with drivers of luxury vehicles for hire. Think of it as a private limousine service. You book the limousine, it gives you an estimated waiting time for your pick-up, sends you to your destination and you hop off. Payment will automatically be charged to your credit card that you provided when you signed up for an Uber account.

Indoor Google Maps For Android Now Available In Singapore

Starting today, with the release of Indoor Google Maps for Android in Singapore, you are able to determine where you are, what floor you’re on, and where are the shops located with regards to your current location in the shopping mall.

Detailed floor plans will automatically appear when you’re viewing the map and zoomed in on a building where indoor map data is available. And, in certain locations, you will have the option of using the indoor My Location feature to help you navigate your way inside. The familiar “blue dot” icon can indicate your approximate location, and when you move up or down a level in a building with multiple floors, the interface will automatically update to display which floor you’re on. All this is achieved by using an approach similar to that of ‘My Location’ for outdoor spaces, but fine tuned for indoors.

Alienware Arena @ Lucky Chinatown

Alienware recently opened their second Alienware Arena in Singapore at Level 3 of Lucky Chinatown. This Alienware Arena is conceptualised by Alienware from the group up. The first Alienware Arena in Singapore is located at #B1-01/02/03 of Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station (NE6) and that was bought over from JCube Cybercafe and rebranded to be Alienware Arena.

Alienware Arena @ Lucky Chinatown houses about 140 Alienware’s X51 desktops with Dell ST2420L monitors, Alienware keyboards/mouses and Razer Goliathus (Control Edition) mouse pads. I wished they ditch the Alienware keyboards/mouses for Razer keyboards/mouses instead.

Buying Mobile Phones/Gadgets/Computers In Singapore

If you are visiting Singapore as a tourist or for a business trip and intending to buy mobile phones, gadgets, computers or computer related components, this blog post is for you. Hopefully you will stumble upon this blog post via Google before you actually visited Singapore.

First and foremost, DO NOT BUY anything from Lucky Plaza, the only thing you should go to Lucky Plaza for, is for food. You might have recently read that a Bangladeshi businessman paid S$10,103 for 2 iPhone 5 32GB with extended warranty from Lucky Plaza.
