Singtel Easy Mobile Free Data Promotion

Singtel Easy Mobile was launched two years ago and is a postpaid mobile service from Singtel that allow users to customise their tariff plans every month to suit their lifestyle needs and budget.

It is probably my second favourite postpaid plan after the SIM Only plan. I am deciding to switch to either SIM Only plan or Easy Mobile plan once my Combo 2 plan expires mid of this year.

Netflix Now Available in Singapore

During Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2016, the co-founder and CEO of Netflix, Reed Hastings, announces the launch of Netflix in almost every country in the world except China.

I have been a Netflix subscriber for almost a year (since April 2015) and I have been waiting for this day. Using a VPN to watch Netflix is slightly slower and cumbersome. You also have to block Google DNS if you want to cast it on your Google Chromecast. Getting the Netflix app is also a problem since it is only available in those market that Netflix is in.

Moto 360 (Second Generation) Review

Do check out my post on Moto 360 (Second Generation) – Unboxing & Setup before reading this review.

I have been using the Moto 360 (Second Generation) instead of my Apple Watch for almost two weeks now. I do miss my Apple Watch just a little. Perhaps, the only little thing that I missed about from the Apple Watch is the ability to act on notifications.

Using Amazon Echo With Logitech Harmony

In both of my Amazon Echo and Logitech Harmony Home Control articles, I wrote about using Amazon Echo to control your television using Logitech Harmony. But unfortunately the IFTTT solution at that time was premature and didn’t really work.

Last month, IFTTT release a new update in partnership with Amazon Echo that allows you to trigger a receipe with a specific phrase on the Amazon Echo. You will have to start the trigger with “Alexa, trigger …”.

Acronis Updates True Image Cloud & True Image 2016

The Acronis True Image Cloud & True Image 2016 was launched more than three months ago and last week, Acronis released a major update to them featuring these five new features.

The updates are based on input from customers who told Acronis that the two most common data protection problems that families face today are damaged or lost devices, and running out of disk space on their devices.

Nexus 6P Official Case

The Nexus 6P Official Case was out of stock for quite sometime on the Google Store. I have been trying to get it but to no avail.

I am surprised that it came back on Black Friday and this is where Google Store is having a 50% on all cases and selected accessories.

Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD

Amazon was having a 48% off their Samsung 850 EVO 250GB last month (I bought it on the 11th November 2015). The listed price is US$149.99 (S$213) and the discounted price is US$74.99 (S$106).

Another good news is that it qualifies for the free AmazonGlobal Saver Shipping to Singapore if your total qualifying purchases are more than US$125.
