Weekend Recap
On Saturday I went out with Calvin and JingWei to Suntec and tried Burger King's new burger, which was average, the new cheese nuggets too; I still prefer the cheese sticks. We spent the whole time talking about NS.

Clark Quay
I had my weekly dinner at Clarke Quay, eating at Quayside Grilled Seafood. The food was decent and reasonably priced, with excellent service at first that dropped off as we finished. We then had gelato at Liang Court.
Some Rants
StarHub MaxOnline was down for over 15 minutes yesterday. I first thought it was just me, but after texting and calling friends, I realised it was all of Singapore. I tried their hotline, but it was engaged the whole time.
Kill Bill Vol 2
Kill Bill Vol 2 opens in Singapore tomorrow, finally rated M18; I doubt they'll censor much, as it isn't as gory as Vol 1. It runs about two hours, but Vol 1 had more fight scenes.
Ichi The Killer
I watched Ichi the Killer, a very gross movie; Kill Bill is nothing compared to it. Overall it was okay, but the ending is very weird. I also downloaded Zatoichi, an NC16 film that's good.
My New Crumpler Bag
Yesterday, after dropping my brother at tuition, I went to Tampines Mall. The whole area was packed with nowhere to park, likely due to a national Monopoly competition, so my dad parked at an HDB carpark above the S-11 coffeeshop.
Starsky And Hutch
I went to school yesterday to collect a letter, a last attempt to take three days' leave from PTP. According to the Tekong staff, you should be able to get three days off during PTP.
Movies & Images
My ITP is more or less done, with only testing and debugging left. I went jogging with friends at Queenstown Stadium and finally ran 2.4km non-stop, also training pull-ups. I hope to add 400m each week and improve before PTP.
Got My 3rd Month Pay
We were meant to jog at Queenstown Stadium, but a soccer match was on, so we went back to SP. The track was dark but cool, and I managed 2km without stopping, though my timing wasn't great.
Lunch Gathering In School
I was woken by a call from CMPB: SP has told them about my WSC and wants me to defer. The problem is I don't want to defer, since I'd then enter PTP after August and ORD later.
The Passion Of The Christ
I had a Bak Chor Mee lunch with my parents at Marina Square, before meeting XiuYu and HuiJuan for The Passion of the Christ at GV Marina. The two-hour-plus film was only average and, no offence, rather dramatic.
Good Friday
A busy Good Friday and Saturday on too little sleep, so I'll sleep soon, posting this while my hair dries. On Good Friday I used my dad's car all day, fetching Serene, Jackey and Laily to Li Xiang's house.
Hellboy
I went to watch Hellboy at GV Grand by myself. The film runs about two hours, excluding GV's adverts. I found it more interesting than Spider-Man or Daredevil, so I'd say it's better than both. Thumbs up.
Network Marketing
Today I met Patrick, my primary school mate, who wanted to introduce some business to me. It's MLM, but since we've been friends over ten years I gave him face and went. Lunch was at Lao Pa Sat.
Country Mana
I had dinner at Country Mana in Great World City, where their 11th-anniversary promotion offers a $7.99 set dinner, plus $1.99 each for soup and dessert. The food was okay but not filling; give me Ponderosa any day.
DAMM, My NS Letter Came
On Friday I went to Phuse's place, but after six hours we couldn't fix it, as his motherboard was a goner. We had dinner at the Kopitiam beside West Mall; their ban mian rocks, $4 for a big portion.
Dinner At Jurong Point
I met Jackey at Jurong Point. We wanted Fish & Co, but most were on a budget, so we hit the food court. I had the fried fish steamboat; the fish was nice but the soup too milky.
My First April’s Fool Joke
I just finished watching Timeline and quite liked it, a bit like The Butterfly Effect but less confusing, thumbs up. I also rewatched Love Actually, with the usual cuts from Singapore's Censorship Board on some parts.

Singapore vs Japan
Singapore take on Japan tonight at Jalan Besar Stadium. The Singapore Pools odds are telling: a Singapore win pays $15 to $1, a draw $9, and a Japan win just $1.05. I'm 99% sure Singapore will lose.
The Haunted Mansion
Yesterday I visited my grandmother's grave to beat next week's Qingming crowds, but plenty thought alike and the temple was packed. I also watched Darren and Evelyn's grand wedding on Channel U; it must have cost a fortune.
Unreal Tournament 2004 Competition
I met my team for the competition at Sim Lim Square. There were many cock-ups, delaying the match about 45 minutes. We got trashed by Ash Team 2 16-0, thrashed BDay Team 8-0, and won the third by walkover.
