The GoPro Jaws (Flex Clamp) is retailing for S$75 in Singapore and it contains both the Jaws: Flex Clamp and Adjustable Neck (Gooseneck). The Adjustable Neck (Gooseneck) alone is retailing for S$35 in Singapore.

I got the GoPro Jaws (Flex Clamp) from Amazon for US$39.99 (S$54) instead because it is about S$20 cheaper and it qualifies for the AmazonGlobal Saver free shipping.

If you are using the GoPro HERO4 Black Edition, it doesn’t come with a built-in touch display. You will need to get the extra LCD Touch BacPac which cost S$120. I got it together with the GoPro Tripod Mounts at Click! by Max Photo which is located at Funan DigitalLife Mall #04-15.

The LCD touch display is good for framing your shots without the need for using the GoPro App (iOS | Android | Windows Phone) as a live viewfinder because the process can be quite cumbersome and the live viewfinder it lags by about 3 seconds.

As mentioned in my GoPro HERO4 Black Edition’s post, GoPro doesn’t use the standard tripod mount unlike the Sony HDRAS20 Action Video Camera, and hence if you want to mount it to a tripod, you got to get the GoPro Tripod Mounts which is retailing for S$20.

I got mine from Click! by Max Photo which is located at Funan DigitalLife Mall #04-15. They do accept CapitaVoucher and I used my CapitaVouchers that my ex-colleagues gave it to me as a farewell present.

Despite selfie being so popular last year, I don’t own a selfie stick myself. And hence when I was in Hong Kong last December, I am determined to get a good one.

Whenever Li Xiang got a gadget as a present, I get to keep it because she is not into gadgets! The HTC RE Camera was given to her by her company’s client.

The HTC RE Camera is HTC’s take of the GoPro for the normal consumers like me who are not into extreme sports. The RE Camera isn’t shockproof but it is waterproof rated at IPX7 and that means it can be submerged into water of up to 1m for 30 minutes.

I always wanted a GoPro camera, but I can’t justify spending so much money on a extreme-action video camera because I might not use it often.

I saw the Sony HDRAS20 Action Video Camera and Sony 16GB Class 10 Micro SDHC R40 Memory Card being sold as a bundle on Amazon for US$97 (S$128). It is not Amazon’s Gold Box Deal of the Day but rather sort of a pre-black Friday deal. I bought it because it was a very good deal despite it does not ship to Singapore directly.
