Target Now Ships To Singapore

After Amazon, Target now ship items to Singapore, however there is no free shipping option unlike Amazon’s Free AmazonGlobal Saver Shipping.

Shipping is either by Aramex or DHL Express with the option to pay taxes upon delivery or at the online checkout. You will only need to pay 7% Goods and services tax (GST) if your items (including shipping) exceeds S$400.

Singapore’s First Apple Store Opening Next Year?

Apple might be opening the first Apple Store in Singapore next year at Knightsbridge (Orchard Road) according to an email sent to Pure Fitness Knightsbridge’s Patrons.

The Pure Group would like to confirm that we will be closing our Pure Fitness Knightsbridge location at the end of business on 15th December 2015.

Singapore’s First LEGO Certified Store Opens at Suntec City Mall

Singapore’s First LEGO Certified Store was opened on Saturday, 29th November 2014, by Her Excellency, Berit Basse, the Ambassador of Denmark to Singapore.

The company managing the store is Bricks World. Bricks World is the oldest (since 2003) and largest specialist LEGO retailer in Singapore.

Plaza Singapura 40th Anniversary

Plaza Singapura was built in 1974 and was designed by BEP Akitek Pte Ltd. It undergo a major renovation in 2002 and again in 2012 (Source: Wikipedia).

This year marks its 40th anniversary and they have partnered with Cold Storage (which is their anchor tenant since last year) to organise an inaugural epicurean event called “Flavours of the World” at Plaza Singapura’s Main Atrium located on level 1. The event will be held for about two weeks from 22nd October 2014 to 2nd November 2014.

Newegg Is Coming To Singapore

Newegg is coming to Singapore alongside to other countries like India, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand and Poland by end of June 2014. Currently it is only in four countries (US, Canada, UK and Australia).

For the unaware, Newegg is one of the largest online retailer of computer hardware and software that is based in California, United States.

Timbuk2 Singapore Store

Timbuk2 opens its first in-store customisation outside of the United States right here in Singapore. The Timbuk2 Singapore store officially opens yesterday, 31st October 2013 and is located at #03-26A Bugis Junction (200 Victoria Street, Singapore 188021). The opening hours are from 10.30am to 10pm daily.

The Singapore retail store measures 280 sq ft and will showcase 75% of its product line of more than 100 styles of bags and accessories from the United States. There is an interactive custom station where you can design your custom bags or accessories made to order in the Timbuk2 San Francisco factory. It takes about 2 weeks from the moment you order till you get your bag.
