I have no idea why SingTel choose to release the news after office hours. I just stepped out of the office when I received this news!!
You can now register your interest for iPhone 4 with SingTel at http://singtelshop.com/iphone4.
Even though there is nothing much on that, they are saying that they are in the final talks with Apple. The URL to the page is http://info.singtel.com/personal/communication/mobile/mobile-phones/iphone4.

SingTel send me the Motorola BackFlip for a review last month but because of my busy schedule I can only review it till recently. I apologize for the delay. I will be only covering the physical aspect of the phone because in terms of OS and software it is very similar to the Motorola Dext which I reviewed 5 months ago.
If you notice the battery cover comes separately in the package instead of being pre-fixed to the back of the phone.
Apple officially announce iPhone 4 yesterday at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2010. I have been following it live on GDGT which I think is the fastest when compared to Engadget. This time round Gizmodo is just aggregating news as I think they are not physically there maybe because of the leak?
MicroSIM is now being used instead of the normal SIM card which is the same case as the iPad. Camera has been bumped up to 5MP with LED flash, front-facing camera added and Apple calls that FaceTime which is a nicer word for video conferencing except that it is for WiFi only. HD video recording at 720p, screen resolution has been increased to 960-by-640-pixel resolution at 326 ppi, Three-axis gyroscope is added. Processor has been bumped up to 1GHz using the same Apple A4 chip found in iPad. For more details, check out the Design Page of iPhone 4.
Samsung has partnered SingTel to launch the Samsung Galaxy S in Singapore. SingTel is the first telecom operator in the world to carry the Samsung Galaxy S.
The Galaxy S is an Android 2.1 phone featuring a 4″ super AMOLED screen display and a 1GHz processor. The phone displays is less reflective yet able to retain the brilliance of colors and sharp clarity. It is amazingly responsive even when typing on the keyboard. It also have haptic feedback that indicates by vibrating when you touch on any virtual keys (Li Xiang is very amaze with this).
Was invited to a Sony Ericsson’s Backstage blogger session, it is my first time attending a Sony Ericsson event! We are introduce to the company (Sony) tag line which is “make.believe”. The “dot” in the “make.believe” is important because it separates “make believe” from “make” and “believe”.
After the introduction we are introduce to 5 phones. Xperia X10, Xperia X10 Mini, Xperia X10 Mini Pro, Vivaz and Vivaz Pro. The Xperia X10 family is running on Android 2.1 while the Vivaz family is running on Symbian OS S60 v5.
It is said that the Apple next generation iPhone aka “iPhone HD” was lost/dropped in a bar by Grey Powell, who is an Apple Software Engineer working on the iPhone Baseband Software. The iPhone was later found by someone else. Gizmodo rumored to have paid US$5,000 for the prototype and did a dissect of it. The iPhone is not bootable because Apple remotely killed the phone assuming immediately the phone was reported lost by its employee. No I wonder how many heads is going to roll.
I have mirrored the pictures from Gizmodo into Flicker:
Sorry for the late news, but when I was in Hong Kong, Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 was launched in Singapore and SingTel customers are the first one to get it. I hope they will bring in iPad next =D
The RRP for the Xperia X10 is S$1,088 (without contract).
