Fabrix Case For Google Nexus

Ordered the Black Suite Fabrix Case for my Google Nexus from Fabrix Cases. It is a custom size since they do not have it readily available and hence I paid US$26.90 for it and an additional US$3 registered mail shipping within Singapore.

I was very impressed by how well it fits my naked iPhone 4S when I ordered the Fabrix Fifth October iPhone Case and hence I decided to get one as well for my Google Nexus.

Facebook Name Cards By moo.com

Joined in the bandwagon and ordered my Facebook Name Cards from moo.com. The name cards (50 pieces) are free for the time being but you will need to pay for shipping. I paid US$15.75 (S$20) for the shipping to Singapore. It takes about 2 weeks before you will receive it.

I kinda like the design of the box containing the name cards, very unique!

Galaxy Nexus (White)

Bought the Galaxy Nexus (White) from SingTel Shop at ComCenter on the 18th February 2012. Initially, the white color is only available online via SingTelShop.com. Since I am already at the physical store, so I thought no harm trying my luck to ask the Customer Service Officer (CSO) and to my surprise, they have it in-store at ComCenter! So those who want white, take note of this!

I ported Li Xiang over from M1 to SingTel and she signed a 2-year 3G Flexi Lite contract which cost S$39 per month. After telecom subsidy, the phone cost S$488.

HP Folio 13 Review

Had a chance to play with the HP Folio 13 for about a week and it was my first time playing with a Windows-based UltraBook. And I was pretty impressed. Normally when I get friends or family members who asked me to recommend an alternative to MacBook Air for Windows, I would always just ask them to buy MacBook Air and install Windows in it via BootCamp

But now, I have an alternative UltraBook to recommend to them which is the HP Folio 13. It is retailing for S$1,499 which is pretty affordable and very competitive to the 13″ MacBook Air which similar specifications is retailing for S$1,688.

Timbuk2 Shagg Bag

Bought my first Timbuk2 bag or rather pouch in Singapore at Orchard Cineleisure and it is the Timbuk2 Shagg Bag 2012. It cost S$35. It it an accessory pouch that can be attached to the straps of your Timbuk2 bag.

In my case, I am attaching it to my Timbuk2 Q Backpack 2011. You can store iPhone, earphone, keys or even coins in that pouch which can be access easily since it is in front.

Wedding Gift From Nokia Connects

I didn’t really announced that I got married in Las Vegas when I was in US for holiday 2 months ago. I only posted it in my Facebook as it is more private than my Twitter.

It was not really a last minute decision. I proposed to Li Xiang while celebrating our 7th Anniversary at Klapsons Boutique Hotel on 22nd October 2011. Li Xiang suggested to do something out of the ordinary which is to register our marriage in Las Vegas since we will be going there for holiday in 2 months time. We asked our parents and they did not object it and we went ahead as planned!

Mohzy Loop Micro USB & iPhone Cable

Li Xiang got me the Mohzy’s Loop Micro USB & Apple iPhone/iPod Cable from Taiwan. I did not see it selling in Singapore. She got it for NT$390 (S$16.67) from Studio A which is a Apple Reseller in Taiwan.

It is essentially a Micro USB cable that have magnets on both end of the tip that attracts to each other to form a loop shape. You can wear it on your wrist or loop it around your bag’s strap. You can even place it on your computer tower or even on your fridge holding up name cards or to-do lists. I would consider the magnet within the cable to be slightly stronger than your average fridge magnets.
