Li Xiang got me there when she ordered 2 cakes from Pine Garden to be delivered to my office. I was shocked when I received the cake. My colleagues even lighted up the candle and sing a short verse of the birthday song, making it even more embarrassing! Suddenly the whole office knew my birthday!

In the press release today to announce the availability of iPad 2 in 25 more countries this Friday, it also states that the iPad 2 will be available in Hong Kong, Korea & Singapore in April 2011.

CUPERTINO, California – March 22, 2011 – Apple today announced that iPad 2, the second-generation of its third post-PC device, will go on sale in 25 additional countries this Friday, March 25. iPad 2 will be available at Apple retail stores and select Apple Authorized Resellers at 5 p.m. local time, and online through the Apple Store (www.apple.com) beginning at 1 a.m. Apple today also announced that all models of iPad 2 will be available in Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore and additional countries in April.

The bag is very lightweight, slim and compact and fits nicely an 11″ MacBook Air! Personally I am using it as my iPad bag till I get a MacBook Air next year or so!

Went for LG Blogger Night on Thursday at Black Coffee Dessert Bar located in TripleOne Somerset where they show us the LG Optimus 2X & LG Optimus Black.

The main feature of the LG Optimus 2X is the dual core NVIDIA TEGRA 2 Processor running at 1GHz and the overall experience of the phone is indeed snappy. If a stock Android ROM instead, I am sure it will be even faster. I am not a fan of any manufacturer customizing their own Android UI. I just prefer the stock Android UI. Having said that, the LG Android UI do have some similarities with the Samsung TouchWhiz UI.

The Nexus S is available from all leading mobile phone retailers at the recommended retail price of S$828, without contract and inclusive of GST.
