I always wanted a good quality retractable lightning cable just for the fun and “less messiness” of it. This Griffin retractable lightning cable measures 10cm in length, 4cm in width, 1cm in thickness and weights 35g! The total length of the lightning cable when it is fully unwind is about 0.7m.
The gold version of HTC One is now available in Singapore (since 18th January 2014) just in time for Chinese New Year.

Bought the Bose MIE2i Mobile Headset from Apple’s West 14th Street Store in Manhattan for US$116.96 and after 8.875% tax, it comes out to US$127.34 (S$161.50). The usual price is US$129.95 but Bose in USA is giving a 10% discount during the holiday period. With the 10% discount, it is about S$37 cheaper when you compared it to the official retail price of S$199 in Singapore.
I am pretty impressed with the Bose MIE2i, it sounded better than Klipsch Image S4i II with regards to clarity and bass and from a non-audiophile point of view, the sound quality is on-par with the Klipsch Image X10.
Apple’s first Lightning to USB Cable was 1 meter in length when it was first launched in September 2012.
In February 2013, Apple released a shorter variant of it which halved that length and again in September 2013, Apple released a longer variant of it which is twice the length.

Bought the Apple iPhone 5s Case (Brown) from the Apple’s Fifth Avenue store because I have to get something from that iconic flagship store! It is just slightly cheaper than Singapore if you pay by cash. Over there, it is retailing for US$39 + US$3.46 (NYC 8.875% tax) = US$42.46 (S$54), whereas in Singapore it is retailing for S$58.
Bought the Fitbit Aria from Amazon during it’s Black Friday week lightning deals. I got it for US$93.99 (S$118) including shipping because the order is qualified for AmazonGlobal Saver.
In Singapore, the Fitbit Aria is retailing for S$169 on Apple Online Store, so you saved S$51 but you have to forgo the 1 year warranty.
